The James Jamerson Legacy Foundation supports artists in recovery through mentorship, resources, and the power of music.

To preserve and honor the legacy of James Jamerson, a world renown bass player, one of the most recognizable members of Motown’s in house session musicians, The Funk Brothers, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winner, whose struggles with addiction during his lifetime contributed to his untimely death and continue to affect his family even today, by providing substance abuse and addiction treatment programming specifically designed to address the unique needs of artists, musicians and other creative people working within the music industry and their families.

Together, we can make a lasting impact. Help us create a better future for those in need by making a donation to James Jamerson Legacy Foundation.
